How To Stop Overthinking And Make A Decision

Over the years I have worked with thousands of women worldwide and I have found a common thread of struggle –  for one reason or another they cannot seem to make a firm YES decision.

They tend to struggle with one or both of these behaviors:

1. They decide “YES” – 99% of the way and then second guess themselves with the left over 1% and then that 1% of uncertainty turns into a 100% – NOPE.
2. They can’t commit to a decision, so they ask everyone they know for their opinion and end up becoming more and more confused instead of crystal clear and confident! So they stay stuck in the “I have no idea what to do, so I’ll do nothing until I figure it out” space.

Do You Make 99% YES Decisions?

I have found that women who are not truly connected to their powerful feminine essence and intuition tend to make 99% decisions. And “yeah but’s” live in the 1%… AND “yeah but” will stop you and block you from going after (and actualizing) what it is that you truly desire.

Action corresponds to the Element Of Fire 🔥 and if you suffer with indecisiveness, you need to learn how to work more productively with the Element Of Fire.

Here Are Two Yeah But Scenarios

1. Initial Thought: I would really love to work privately with a mentor and learn how to move my business forward in a strategic and profitable way …

The Yeah But: Yeah but, how am I going to afford a mentor? The good ones cost a lot of money … where am I going to get the money? Maybe I should just forget about it and continue to try to figure it all out for free…

or

2. Initial Thought: I would really love to kick my sugar and carb addiction…

The Yeah But: Yeah but, I could never give up eating bread and pasta, it’s probably useless to even try…

Any Action Is Better Than No Action!

If you truly desire something my friend, it is soooo important for you to make a full 100% decision!  

This is especially true in business. Many entrepreneurial women can become so caught up in potentially making a mistake that they freeze and do nothing. Remember this mantra, let it stay in the forefront of your mind forever and ever:

Action, even imperfect action, will trump inaction every time.

I made a full body, 100% decision to step into my power and become a leader in the transformational coaching world. I had faith that whomever was meant for my message and my work would find me, and you did. I have never been more fulfilled or inspired than I am today… my life is truly abundant on every level and that is what I wish for you too!

How To Cure Indecisiveness

In order to cure indecisiveness you simply have to ask yourself the following four questions courtesy of a David Neagle training call I jumped on a couple of years ago:

1. Is this something I want to be, do or have?
2. Is being, doing or having this taking me closer to my goal or farther away from my goal?
3. Is being, doing of having this in alignment with Universal Law (more life to all)?
4. Does being, doing or having this violate the rights of others? In other words, does it take away someone else’s right to choose?

Questions #1-3 should be a “yes” answer and question #4 should be a “no” answer. Easy peasy methodology right? I use that sequence of questions to help me make all of my tough decisions!
